Letter from the President

As I’m sure you are aware, the 88^th Texas Legislature completed its regular session on May 29^th and more recently, completed its second called special session on July 13^th when it passed an $18 billion tax reform package.

The Texas Construction Association website has been updated to show new construction-related laws that will be effective September 1, 2023.  Additionally, keep an eye on your inbox for a summary of all of the proposed constitutional amendments that will be on the ballot in November sometime in the coming weeks.
